Rivermoore Park on the Chattahoochee River, Gwinnett County Having been recognized with residential real estate's leading national and local awards, Rivermoore Park is indeed “the most honored address in metro Atlanta.” Residents have exclusive use of 12 neighborhood parks, including the 80-acre Great Meadow Park that borders the Chattahoochee River. Also included are 11 miles of trails and paved sidewalks lined with decorative street lamps and more than 800 shade trees. At the center of Rivermoore Park is the residents' private Meadow Club. It has a 4,500-square-foot clubhouse, 5,000-square-foot swimming pool with seven lap lanes, ten tennis courts with canopied spectator seating, children's playground, sports court, and a practice green. Such preservationist efforts as 140 birdhouses - including a two-story bird shelter or “Dovecote” - and the engagement of a wildlife conservationist to identify animal habitats native to the property won honors from the Atlanta Audubon Society and the National Wildlife Federation.
